The numbers do not lie.

The effects of an aging population, a declining birthrate and the global competition for talent are having a profound impact on the Canadian labour market.  By 2012, 100 percent of the net growth in the Canadian labour force will be due to immigration.  Over the next five years Nova Scotia is expected to have over 56,000 job openings, with 85 percent of those from retirements.

What are you doing to get ready?

Please join us as Gordon M. Nixon, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), and Chair of the Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council (TRIEC), shares his views on the business case for hiring skilled immigrants and the link between integrating diversity into your workforce and the success of a business.
